Deep in the Heart of Tech
"What if money became nothing more than electrons and photons that any individual could use any time wherever they happen to be 7 days a week, 24 hours a day." Visa founder Dee Hock said this almost 55 years ago. And we're delivering on Dee's vision every second of every day.
Visa is the leading pioneer in the field of payments technology, and we continue to define the way to pay and get paid for everyone, everywhere. Just think ... when a Visa card is swiped anywhere in the world, it takes about 1.4 seconds to process. And we do that an average of 13,000 times a second. That's over 150 million transactions a day, processed safely and securely in countries across the globe. Our technology, and the technology you'll be working on, makes that happen. And with only 9500 employees worldwide, there's very few companies with such a massive global stature that are small enough where you can see the work you do have such massive impact. That's Visa – everywhere you want to be.
There's a reason why Ethisphere Institute named us one of the world's most ethical companies.
Here's how our technology is making an impact in the world:
At Visa, we believe work can be one of the best, most rewarding parts of life. So we strive to provide an exceptional environment for our people, a place that inspires and energizes them.
We're the kind of workplace where you'll be given the tools, development opportunities and exposure to set your own course. Where you take your career is up to you. Visa is relaxed, casual but hard working culture. We believe in being part of the community where we work – we have a responsibility in giving back through volunteering, charity drives and through signature programs such as Financial Literacy and Financial Inclusion. At Visa, your work will have an impact, and relationship you'll build with your colleagues will last a lifetime.
A Truly Global Workforce
At Visa, we're big believers in diversity and inclusion. We appreciate the talents and skills of a varied workforce, both in heritage and lifestyle. We believe we're stronger because of the collective knowledge, perspective and experience of people from all walks of life.
Technology is the backbone of Visa. As the world's largest payments technology company - we are fueled and defined by innovation. Working in technology at Visa gives you the opportunity to make a real impact, both in your job and in the world.
Visa is the catalyst for change. Since the early 70s, there has been a radical global shift away from traditional forms of payment like cash and check to the convenient, reliable and secure electronic payments Visa enables. Visa, and our subsidiaries CyberSource and PlaySpan, are constantly improving, refining and expanding to stay ahead of the demand as more people use Visa in more places than ever before. That's where you come in.
Technology professionals with talent, experience and creativity will be recognized and rewarded as innovation is paramount for us. We're looking for smart, dynamic people who want to be part of the impact.
